Denise provides support to our business practice group as a paralegal with a concentration in estate planning, probate, and business.

Denise graduated from the University of California at Berkely (Boalt Hall School of Law) in 1982. Licensed as an attorney in both Oregon and Illinois, Denise has practiced law for more than 20 years.

Denise's experience includes:

• Representing individuals in estate planning, estate administration, and probate.
• Assisting small businesses in business formations, negotiating and drafting contracts and transactional documents.
• Negotiating and/or litigating business disputes, construction disputes, and contractor claims.
• Defending desegregation plan for the Chicago Public Schools.
• Successfully assisted in defending the Chicago Board of Options Exchange against market fraud suits arising from the stock market crash of 1987.
• Assisted in successfully defending a contractor in several multi-million dollar suits stemming from the Chicago Deep Tunnel Project.
• Argued before several appellate courts.

Denise graduated with a B.A., summa cum laude, from Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon.
