Debra Braddock has more than 15 years' legal experience in a broad range of areas, including civil litigation, contracts, corporations, partnerships, tax planning, business law, and family law.
Debra graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego Law School and is a member of the State Bar of California. During her years in law school, she was a member of the Law Review, published two articles in the Journal of Taxation, and served as an intern in Washington, D.C., with the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division. Following law school, Debra practiced in several midsized law firms in Los Angeles, California, prior to her move to Oregon.
As a member of the staff of Jordan Schrader Ramis, Debra assists our attorneys in litigation involving environmental, insurance coverage, and contract disputes. She also has experience in federal and state administrative and regulatory issues.
Debra interviews clients and witnesses, prepares correspondence, researches legal and procedural issues, drafts pleadings, and prepares and responds to discovery requests. Debra also assists in settlement negotiations, drafts settlement agreements and releases, summarizes depositions, and assists in trial and hearing preparation. She is skilled in legal and factual analysis, and her writing ability is exceptional. Debra's organizational skills are excellent, and she has demonstrated an ability to control a large volume of pleadings in complex cases and to efficiently manage numerous cases through the various phases of the litigation and resolution.
