As a fifth-generation Oregonian, Peter Watts has seen vast changes to our region first hand. After graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law and earning an advanced degree in taxation at the University of Washington School of Law, Peter spent a year as a litigation associate with a mid-sized Portland law firm working on complex litigation. Peter is actively involved in the Clackamas County Business Alliance and serves as the Chair of the CCBA's land use committee. In addition, Peter serves as a member of the Clackamas County Tourism Development Council. Peter has served as a member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Junior Board of Directors since 2005. He is a former committee member of the Portland Opera's Bel Canto Club and a former member of the Gus Solomon Inns of Court. While attending law school at the University of Oregon, Peter served as the law school's Student Senator for three years and spent two terms as University of Oregon's Senate President. Additionally, Peter served as a board member on the University of Oregon Bookstores Board of Directors, as one of five student members on the University of Oregon faculty Senate, as a member of the University's distinguished Service Award Committee, and as a clerk at the United States Attorney's Office.
