E. Andrew Jordan For more than 30 years, Andy Jordan has been a major player in developing and implementing Oregon's land use laws. Representing developers and owners in all areas of real estate development, Andy has won local approvals for numerous major residential, commercial, industrial, and public development projects.

Equally skilled in the acquisition, sale, leasing, assembly, financing, and condemnation of property, Andy's real estate practice focuses on both transactions and dispute resolution. Andy's successes in major real estate transactions and in the litigation and arbitration of complex real estate disputes have earned him a reputation of being a highly successful, established professional in the field.

Andy serves as City Attorney for nine Oregon cities and as County Counsel to one county. He was General Counsel to the Metropolitan Service District (METRO) and has also served as counsel to Oregon school districts, numerous special districts, the Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO), and the Oregon Public Ports Association (OPPA). The experience Andy has gained through his work with cities, counties and special districts gives him the ability to thoroughly analyze the nature and legalities of any public issue.

In addition to handling proposals before local decision-makers, Andy has successfully mediated several major land use/development conflicts. The resulting agreements among developers, local governments, and opponents permitted disputed developments to be approved without litigation or appeal. This skillful use of mediation has given Andy a distinctive measure of success in obtaining development approvals in a timely and efficient manner.
